ITV ADEJE: (Spanish MOT) opens soon in Adeje

The new Adejes's ITV (Inspección Técnica de Vehículos) or spanish MOT, managed by APPLUS Iteuve Technology S.L., will start to operate during the month of november 2011.

The new ITV station is located in calle La Atalaya s/n, inside the Industrial area of Barranco de las Torres and only some metres away from your Zurich Insurance Office. The Station will have three inspection lines and two boxes for environmental protection testing.

So remember, if you need to renew your car insurance and need to pass the ITV, come to our Zurich Insurance office, which is only some minutes away from this new ITV station.

The main objective of the ITV inspection is to check that the vehicle's general condition and vehicle safety features are kept in minimum maintenance conditions to allow this vehicle to continue driving without representing a danger to the occupants or to any other person or item on the road. Nowadays there are also checks to ensure the vehicle meets the minimum requirements of environmental protection.

Documentation needed to complete ITV without problems

The following documents must be presented to carry out the periodic technical inspection:

• Accreditation of vehicle's mandatory insurance (Usually a bank receipt showing that all payments have been made)
• Registration certificate
• ITV card
